A poetic documentary attempts to depict the interconnectedness of humans and nature in the Primorska region without words, thereby painting a global picture of the relationship between consumption and the Earth.
Dominik Mencej is a Slovenian film and TV director, writer, and multimedia artist. His work revolves around finding new ways of telling untold stories, turning the lens into uncommon directions. His debut fiction feature Riders (2022) premiered in competition at the Sarajevo Film Festival and was the official Slovenian entry for the Academy Awards. Taming the Wicked was his project in development at the NIPKOW Programme (2023) under the working title Aberrant Bride.
